Celebrating New Years In Vegas

I wish you all the best this coming year. This year was not too kind to me but I made the most of it. Trust me this coming year will be one to remember (in a good way) for me and the people I hold dear to my heart. I don't just make money for myself I do it for my culture, primarily, and above all my handsome son Ricardo Rangel, Jr. and my wonderful mother Maria Luisa Campos. Cheers.

Are Obama Supporters Dumb?

This video shows just how informed Obama supporters really are about the past Presidential elections. It's entertainment for the masses who went out and voted rather than fact driven voting. People where fed bullshit from both respected candidates and as always the democrats portray the republicans as the villains and that is sad because people don't take the time to make a thought out vote and go simply by the best marketable candidate. Well you be the judge regarding my fellow voters who voted for Barack Obama. Peace.

Cooking Coacaine

I found this very interesting video about manufacturing cocaine. The process seems easy and fast. I guess that is why many indiginous people in Colombia and many other regions of South America cook it as ways of making ends meet. I don't blame them one bit for doing so because if the United States keeps cocaine in high demand, get your money boo-boo!!!

My First Laker Game Of The Season

First and foremost I want to thank Rocio for treating me to my first Laker game of the season. It was amazing to feel all the Laker fanatics energy vibrate in and out of Staples Center. Kobe was great. Ariza continues to amaze me. Gasol is so reliable. Odom is so smooth. The Machine continues to make me chuckle. Bynum is improving. Vlad is still a space cadet. Fish is solid. Luke is getting the minutes he deserves. Phil gives me positive vibes. Jack is Jack. More importantly my Lakers beat the Raptors 112-99 and to top it off we got free tacos. Yes, tonight was a good night. Go Lakers!!!

Killer Mike Rescues Hip Hop

Killer Mike proves to be the true definition of the term "Voice of the Ghetto" on the song "Pressure" featuring Ice Cube. Check out the lyrics to this cut. Ice Cube is my favorite rapper of all time but I have to say Killer Mike outshined Ice Cube on this cut. This song and video is exactly the substance that Hip Hop needs at this very moment. Peace to Killer Mike and Ice Cube for making a cut that actually kicks knowledge.

Audrey Hepburn Is So Adorable

It is hard to find a lady in or out of Hollywood that matches Audrey Hepburn's grace and style. This Gap commercial is living proof of her authentic swagger. Enjoy.

R.I.P. MC Breed

"Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin" was one of the cuts that got me hooked on hip hop. MC Breed died on saturday 11/22/2008 of kidney complications. Peace to his family and friends. God bless.

King Hugh Hefner

Mr. Playboy got an eyeful of Pam Anderson's goods while celebrating his birthday. Both icons look good for their age (specially Pam).
P.S. I can't wait until I turn 82.

Sonidos de mi lindo Mexico

Mexican vendors selling tamales use a distinct tone of voice when announcing the arrival of one of Mexico's favorite foods. Other vendors use an audio taping and the sound is classical Mexican commerce creativity. Enjoy!!!

Griffith Park Trail

I went to Griffith Park today and the trails kicked my butt. God I am so out of shape. I'm a certified fatty (lol). Anyhow, I loved it and encourage everyone to go do the trails. Definitily challenging. Man there are a bunch of horse droppings. Peace to Ro-Ro for doing the trail with me. Cheers.

Remembering John

As you all know I participated in the HomeWalk 5K yesterday which benefits the homeless community of Los Angeles. After finishing the walk I headed to the Mid-Wilshire area. Berendo and 3rd streets to be exact. The place where John McGraham a homeless man was doused with gasoline and set on fire by a/or pathetic/s monster/s who murdered this poor man for unknown reasons. The thought of this horrible act sickens me to my stomach. I wish the monster/s who commited this act bad health and a slow death. I wish his, her, or their family suffers aswell. Die a slow death you son of a bitch/es. How the fuck can you do that to a person. There is no pass on this one you coward/s. Necks will break. Satanas Te Busca!!!

Lakers Lose

My beloved Los Angeles Lakers lost for the very first time this season last night to the Detroit Pistons by score of 106-95. Hey, we can't win them all but we still have the best record in the league and as an added token we have the best player in the world Mr. Kobe Bean Bryant. Oh, before I forget, our friend, Shaq, now blames Phil for the feud between himself and "Mamba". Shaq says that Phil might have been using their feud as motivation for both players. I think Shaq is looking for any form of publicity to make himself feel relevant. Go Lakers!!!

HomeWalk

I participated in the HomeWalk 5K today and I am drained. My feet hurt and the hot weather did not help. It was all worth it because we helped raise more then $500,000.00 for the Los Angeles homeless community.

I Made Omelettes Today

Since times are hard and money is low I decided to make myself breakfast and surprisingly my dish came out Delicious!!! I made ham and cheese omelettes sprinkled with green pepper, tomato, and a teaspoon of milk. I used olive oil, and a pinch of salt, a total of four eggs that equaled to two ham and cheddar omelettes. I want to thank Eli for personally teaching me the art of making this American breakfast.

Voila...........!!!

Rocio Thanks For Looking Out

I am sorry I did not post a blog yesterday. I was trully to busy to even get on the computer. The primary culprit.......my buddy Rocio. She treated me to Mario's Peruvian Restaurant, yummie! She also wanted to buy some Chuck's so we headed to the mall where Lord have mercy I was a recipient of a brand new bottle of Emporio Armani Diamonds for men (freshhhhhhhh!) I thanked her even though I wanted 212 cause I am running out (lol) but the suckers at Macy's did not have it in stock (awwr). Overall I had a great day with Rocio. So thanks to my buddy Ro-Ro now I feel extra fresh and clean. Cheers!

Side Note: Since the girls at Macy's felt bad I was not going home with a 212 they decided to hook me up with some extra samples of colognes and smiles. I will take great customer service over product at all times.

Mr. Rangel Cigar Aficionado

I have never made a secret of my cigar smoking hobby. I am a big fan. I love it. I love the smell. The look. The feeling. The coolness if you will. My favorite cigar to taste is La Finca a delicate hand rolled cigar from Nicaragua with natural flavor and a hint of nut it's simply exquisite. My good friend Ramona owner of Habana Cigar House in Downey, CA got me hooked on it and I have not changed my puro as of today. In the future I wish to try vanilla flavored puros and if I ever get the chance I want to smoke a Cuban if my visit to Cuba early next year comes through. Adios Amigos!

Failing Educational System

So I was speaking to a concerned parent/friend of mine earlier this evening about a situation she had at her child's Preschool. Turns out the school forgot to put her child on the bus back home at the end of school. That is a little disturbing for any parent if you ask me and that was not the first time an error of judgement occured with this child. There was a time earlier this year when this particular child was pushed causing lacerations to his face and no immidiate notice was given to the parent just a simple note home was sent. The child according to my friend had significant bruises and scrapes on the nose and lip. If this was my child I would have appreciated if the school notified me of any injuries to my son immediately. The childs weel being should be priority one in every school, period. Ramona Head Start-State Preschool in
Norwalk, CA seems not to agree with my and to my knowledge every parent of children in preschool or school just in general, but preschool specially. I will be writting a personal letter of complaint to the La Mirada Unified School District for the lack of care for well being of children Ramona Head Start-State Preschool showed my friend and perhaps other parents in the past. I will provide the voice for my little buddy Vincent.

It Pays To Recycle

I Recycle

I Recycled

I took my recycled plastic botles to the recycling center today and made an extra $7.08 that covered my lunch and my daily cigar for today. Hey in today's economy every single penny counts. Not only will you make some extra money but you will also help the planet.

Do Your Part, Recycle!

Note: I asked the guy at the recycling center to take my picture and he took my picture alright (lol).

Bush Welcomes Obama

Bush and Obama
President George W. Bush walking alongside President Elect Barack Obama

President Elect Barack Obama was given a personal tour of the White House by President George W. Bush today. They met to speak about the current economy and to work out a new federal stimulus package. It is unclear if any agreements came to fruition. This is the first official visit to the White House as President Elect for Barack Obama. I have to say seeing Barack Obama stand next to President George W. Bush almost brings tears to my eyes simply because I know change is coming ant it's coming soon. Oh, before I forget President Elect Barack Obama looks to bring swagger to the White House the man is one sharp dresser.
